It's amazing how a little thing like the material used to make a piece of furniture can change its entire character. This is certainly true with upholstered furnishings. The difference between a fabric sofa and one made of fine leather is like night and day. It's not that one is inferior to the other. Rather, it creates a different look to a room, all because a certain material was chosen.
Would you like to make a design statement or try out a new style in your living room without changing out all the furniture? You can choose living room end tables that inject something new into your decor-something sculptural rather than traditional and furniture-like, for example? Or consider something in a coordinating style, but in a material other than wood-ones with copper or slate tops would be striking.
Traditionally we don't think of end tables of adding much style to a room they usually have simple straight lines and are pretty plain. But you need to open your mind to really see the potential end tables have for making a statement in your living room.
Other end tables have fold out tops. These offer even more tabletop space for games that use a lot of pieces or for a few people to have a place to set their plates and drinks.
As you probably know, end tables are highly desirable pieces of furniture to have in your living room, great room or family room. But they usually have a bit of wasted space. Some models may offer a shelf on the bottom, but not much else. With nested end tables, you gain a lot of extra real estate for entertaining. As more people arrive and more potluck dishes crowd your table, you can simply pull out another one of the nesting end tables and use it for the overflow.
In addition, end-tables also come in a variety of designs and materials, from antique to modern, allowing you to match them to your existing furniture, thus giving your home an attractive finishing touch.
