In the initial ages of a child, Parents do every possible effort to make the child bloom in real manner. Coloring pages is a commonly used practice by parents at home or teachers at school to impart knowledge of the alphabets, animal, monuments, fruits, vegetables, numbers etc. Kids love coloring activities and they can even learn a lot through color & fun activities. Colors are fascinating and attract kids easily, that is why the environment of play schools or preschool sessions includes multi colors to make the kids or toddlers happy and cherish. Research shows that the child in early age learns faster than ever, so the knowledge should be impeccable that has to be imparted to kids.
And lastly, aside from all the great amount of happiness, education and satisfaction that these coloring pages will provide to your kids, you are sure to agree when I say that they will give you some amount of time to lay back and relax, instead of chasing your kid around the house for various reasons. They will also help maintain a great, friendly rapport between the two of you, and will be a fun activity altogether, whether on an individual basis, or a collective one.
Since everything a toddler does become an invigorating learning experience, the images should definitely be of things that they recall, if they can name it, the better. Toddlers learn better through visual examples and what better way to do this if not with coloring pages. Hence, you can use coloring books to teach more to the toddlers than just colors, you can do the alphabet or count numbers. The alphabet or numbers can also be big enough for the children to do some coloring on them too.
Invest in a good clay set for starters and let them play with the same. Make a snail and snake and they will love/imitate the same. Appreciate surely. Teach them the basic color like red, blue, green, yellow, white and black. Buy a thick crayon stick and let them hold the same for an entire day. Anything novel is a fancy item. Slowly introduce the paper and let them do what they want with it.
The next week is exciting for both of you. Give them a crayon and demonstrate how to hold the same. Take a paper and scribble, doodle or draw a huge circle. They sure are amazed at the wonder. Encourage them to mimic the activity. Many kids may not be particularly fond of your coloring themes and for starters they may shred the paper or want to break the crayon. Use safe colors and please supervise to avoid accidental swallowing.
